Welcome to the Ulster Casting Club

We  are a small club based in Bushmills on Northern Irelands north coast. The club was established in 2006 to help promote tournament casting in Ulster and also to assist anglers attain their potential from the shore.
We cater for all needs, wether you are a complete beginner or an experienced caster you are more than welcome to attend any of our club meets. This allows you to cast on a measured court giving clear indication of your improvements as you progress.
Venue
Venues for casting are not easy to come across, due to this we are always on the lookout for bigger and better venues. The ideal venue would be a large flat area (400yrds sq or above) free from overhead power lines with no adjacent roads. If you know of a suitable venue please do not hesitate to let us know.
Century Challenge

On the 24th of January 2010 the UCC held a small internal club competition using only Century rods. Based on an aggregate of the three longest casts of the day.
